GamesSo today a guy friend of mine was having girl problems. They’ve been talking everyday for a few months and today she told him to back off a bit, and maybe they should chill out for a week. I told him that yeah, go ahead and leave her alone. I said make her come to him. Ladies and gentlemen, I just advised my friend to play games.
I don’t play games…why should he?
I have always been honest in my relationships and how I feel. I don’t play games. I say mostly what I feel and am pretty blunt, most of the time if I feel that the feeling is mutual. Unless I am for some reason scared..but that’s not important lol….hahah well maybe I do play…but not intentionally…damnit lol
So my question to you guys is…do we really need games in relationships? And to what extent to you play them?

Have you ever noticed that when you’re single and looking, there are no datable people around. Nobody seems right, nobody is calling you or flirting with you. It’s just very…alone. But the minute you have someone, or like someone for that matter, everyone just comes out looking for you. It’s like they know. When you’re taken everyone wants you. Anyone else having this problem?

people tend to like happy people, i think, and if you’re lonely then, most likely, you’re sad all the time. when you’re with someone, you tend (or should) be happier, thus giving off this happy aura that attracts people. so, not only will it attract males, but also females (to be friends with).
games is what makes everything interesting, cut-and-dry relationship doesn’t work for everyone. of course, one would be really happy in the beginning cuz he/she didn’t have to go through much work, but would be bereft of the satisfaction that comes with “winning” the “game.”

i hate playing games. it’s so childish. this is not to say that somethings i do fall prey to the game-playing, although i try very hard not to.
and no, i don’t have that problem… and glad i don’t, lol

sure, all the supermodels started calling me the moment i got engaged.
for some, games are fun when you’re dating… although, i think the people who aren’t into playing games and aren’t desperate, will grow tired of the games pretty fast.
Sometimes it happens that way, when you are with someone people are attracted to you. It’s like they can tell you are happy and confident, and they suddenly want a piece of that. However as you said when you aren’t with anyone, the well is totally and utterly DRY! Boys are tai ma fan heheheh =P

Nope. Women are relieved when they hear I’m married, thinking I won’t hit on them. And of course, I don’t, because that would be evil.
As for games, games don’t work. You both just end up becoming more bitter and resentful. They just make you feel like crap in the end.

My novel is at a publisher right now. I’ll let you know if the rejection letter is encouraging or not, hehe. I hope the editor will be at least helpful.
