Anyways, even though I have a new site I will be protecting everything. I am really freaked out still. When you guys subscribe to me, could you please not publish my name? Maybe it will help. I have a feeling this one girl’s dad who was stalking my site was probably reading my friends’ sites as well. I hope he hasn’t bookmarked them or anything. Stupid students and their parents!!!!

omg… crazy.
yeah this girls mom was threatening to have me fired because i have a xanga. her daughter apparently has like 3 xangas (she had them before she was ever even in my class) and her friends have them, and whatever. they were like stalking my xanga. this girl then went on to tell her dad how cool it was , and now the mom is mad because apparently the dad went to my xanga ‘for entertainment’ on a daily basis and would like quote things at dinner and what not. so the mom is super pissed. i have like 15 pages of email printed out with her yelling at me from this weekend alone. she said i am encouraging kids to ‘be beyond their years’ or some bullshit like that, all because i have a xanga. i don’t think there was ever anything inappropriate there, which i told her mom, but she said i used the f word a few times. fucking bitch! god! i am so upset. i really loved my old xanga..and now i feel like super paranoid. it just sucks.
the school administration made me shut it down completely. i told them that i had everything protected and you could see nothing, but they said i had to shut it down. so i lost like 2 months left of premium that i had on there *sigh*. it’s just stupid.
also-annie, peter and i are broken up. we’ve been broken up, as i am sure he’s told you. but i don’t know if i want to comment back on your page, because i don’t feel like him reading my xanga. and if i don’t add him to my protected list he will whine and cry and i can’t deal with that right now, sorry.
it sucks that you also had to abandon a really cool screen name as well. i’m sorry to this this happen to you =(

I can’t believe the school administration forced you to shut down your site! I’m sorry you had to go through all this *unnecessary* trauma and drama! My goodness! I’m vowing that I will never become one of *those* parents!!!
don’t know about the dad quoting stuff and such at the dinner table, but the mom sounds like a bitch who couldn’t take that her husband was looking at their daughter’s hot teacher website. and every 10 seconds or so while typing, the cursor jumps to the google search bar. i have no idea why.
This is exactly what I feared would happen to me… be ultra careful this time. If this site is found, the administration will probably flip out! (I don’t see why they think they have the right to control public speech outside of work, but there was actually a story about this on cnn.com last night, and Heather from dooce.com is probably the most famous blogger-victim.)
A few suggestions: ditch the profile pic for something completely anonymous, edit this post so it doesn’t mention your old screenname, and never post anything about school unless it’s protected. I protect all of my pictures, too… nothing personally identifiable on a public site. Since it’s also rather unusual to speak both Greek and Chinese, you might even consider limiting yourself to just one in public posts. And if this post isn’t protected… protect it… the parents do seem pretty psycho, but publicly complaining is a sure-fire way to make it worse.
Ugh. Stupid people. Whatever happened to free speech? I know private corporations can fire at-will employees for pretty much anything, but you work for a public school…
