[music | dj tiesto- just be]

    You can travel the world
    But you can’t run away
From the person you are in your heart
You can be who you want to be
    Make us believe in you
Keep all your light in the dark
    You’re searching for truth
You must look in the mirror
And make sense of what you can see
    Just be
    Just be

They say learning to love yourself
    Is the first step
But you take what you want to be real
    Flying on plains exotic locations
    Won’t teach you
    How you how to feel
    Beside the fact
That you are who you are
And nothing can change that believe
    Just be
    Just be

    Cause now I know
    Is not so far
    To were I go
    There’s not this spot
    Since this I feel
    I need
    To just be
    Just be
    I was lost
    And I’m still lost
But I feel so much better

    Cause now I know
    Is not so far
    To were I go
    There’s not this spot
    Since this I feel
    I need
    To just be
    Just be

This song sums up what I’ve learned since I moved out here to Portland by myself.

  • That’s awesome! I didn’t realize many schools were even teaching Chinese, especially at the middle-school level. I’ll be teaching English and Journalism classes… if I ever find a teaching job. I know it’s only February, but I haven’t gotten any responses to the resumes I’ve sent out. Is it just too early? Or are they just not interested? In any case, I have the Sylvan interview tomorrow, another big job fair on Thursday, and a substitute teaching orientation on Friday, so this week is busy.

  • P.S. How on earth do you have 5 preps? That’s insane! And since you’re teaching immersion LA and SS, along with Chinese, what are your degrees in? And how does your immersion class work? Are the literature and history mostly Chinese? If so, do these students receive any instruction in western history or English-language literatures?

  • i know where you live now.

  • Wow, you even teach chinese in school. Will the students feel strange to have a non-chinese to teach chinese? How many have you learnt chinese? And how??? My God, people always say chinese is one of the most difficult language to learn. I have learnt german for some years but without any result. Any idea?
